Position Overview

With limited supervision, the Field Consignment Logistics Analyst is responsible for the systematic generation of sales metrics and targeted account data for the Field Sales group. In a collaborative role, the Field Consignment Analyst will provide recommendations and direction to individual account representatives for maintaining optimized consignment and FSL inventories. The account optimization process will include revision and termination notifications. Requests for new consignment and FSL inventories will be reviewed based on pre-approval metrics prior to Customer Operations management review.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Oversight for consignment account audits and reconciliations

  • Expiring inventory monitoring and notification

  • Support of Field Sales to ensure balanced consignment and FSL accounts

  • Provide Field Sales logistical support related to consignment account returns and revisions

  • Ensure the appropriate transfer of relevant information to the SSR group

  • Monthly consignment metrics reporting

Requirements

The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years Medical Device consignment and audit experience along with a strong background in Logistics/Inventory management.

  • Extensive experience within a Medical Device Field Sales organization, both in consignment warehouse and hospital environments, is essential.

  • Demonstrated data analysis and problem solving skills, including advanced spreadsheet proficiency, database query tools and data reduction are a requirement.

  • As required, workwith cross-functional teams to establish/document operational procedures.

  • SAP or other ERP system experience and working knowledge of MS Office applications required.

  • Strong organization, planning, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

  • Ability to use continuous improvement principles

  • Understanding of GMP and Lean principles

  • Understanding of corrective action process (CAPA), reporting, and analysis

  • Ability to develop, organize and generate accurate reports and statistics with minimal supervision and direction.

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to draw succinct conclusions from complex data.

  • Must have excellent customer orientation, ability to influence individuals, and a strong systems aptitude.

  • Excellent oral and written skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years Medical Device consignment and audit experience along with a strong background in Logistics/Inventory management.
