The Business Unit Director – Eyecare will lead and direct Country Business Unit to meet or exceed the defined sales, profit, market share and growth objectives through direction and motivation of sales and marketing teams. Be accountable for the development of longer term strategies and plans. Initiate and develop strong business relationships with key customers and influencers to maintain / develop existing business and capitalize on new business opportunities. Accountable for the growth, resilience and health of the UK/Irl organisation as a key member and contributor to the UK Lead Team.

Requirements

  • Proven high performance track record of success in healthcare sales in different distribution channels and people management

  • Proven managerial skills or high management potential

  • Experience in marketing

  • Experience in training / coaching

  • Experience in managing budgets and sales forecasting

  • Sound knowledge of country health care environment including pricing and access and implications for the business
