The Executive Director, BOTOX® Portfolio Marketing is responsible for promotional and business strategies for the BOTOX® franchise including labeling, pricing programs, competitive planning, lifecycle management and residency and fellow strategy and execution. A key imperative is to maximize the value of the brands to optimize the portfolio’s value. The incumbent is the marketing point for the national accounts team and works in close collaboration with cross functional groups to impact product performance; in particular, sales, managed markets, trade and distribution, finance, supply operations and commercial operations.
In addition, this position will oversee the BOTOX® Urology Product Marketing Lead as well as the portfolio leads for provider learning and education. To be successful, the incumbent must partner effectively with the professional and consumer franchise leaders to plan and execute the strategy.
The incumbent must review and respond to changing market dynamics, as indicated through market analysis, customer interaction and sales input, to ensure achievement of goals by directing activities of product management and working with medical/marketing communications. He/she will direct the marketing team to maximize utilization of resources as well as develop marketing (product) managers.
Thisposition reports to the VP Neuro/Uro Marketing and actively participates in the business’s unit strategy and planning team. May interface with other U.S. brand teams to identify opportunities for increased productivity and synergy in the short-term and plan for development and management of opportunities in the long-term for commercialization.
Minimum 10+ years of professional industry experience, including at least 3+ years in managerial positions at a medium-to-large health care company, preferably in global marketing functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of pharma industry marketing, sales and business development with established track record in managing industry-based marketing functions.
Experience working in or with other regions/countries highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to lead people and manage budgets.
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline field required; MBA or other advance degree in social science, life sciences, or quantitative analysis or related area is desired.
