Position Overview

The Sr. Meeting Planner works across business units and has the overall responsibility for planning, executing and managing national conventions, customer events and sponsorships for Allergan Medical Aesthetics. Responsibilities include developing a strategic plan that incorporates objectives, key product messages, product displays, onsite marketing strategy, customer engagement activities and designing exhibit booth layout for optimal product positioning and engagement. The Sr. Meeting Planner is also responsible for recommending sponsorships and symposium opportunities to internal constituents. The position also includes managing a $6M budget with each convention and event being executed on time and within budget. This role requires interfacing with C-suite level executives and high profile customers.

Education and Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. degreeor equivalent combination of experience and education required.

  • 3-5 years tradeshow/convention/meeting planning experience
