Position Overview

Allergan, a leader in the development and commercialization of treatments for gastrointestinal disorders, is seeking a product director for a flagship brand indicated for the treatment of IBS-C. In this role, the successful candidate would provide expertise to advance patient marketing, including the distinctive branded campaign and future evolution of this campaign. The candidate would also lead market innovation, with a focus on new channels for patients and health care professionals to access educational resources. The candidate would also play an integral role in the development of brand strategic and tactical plans and assume responsibility for managing the brand forecast.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Consumer Promotion: Customer Insights and Strategy, Concept and Message Platforms, Metrics

  • Market Innovation and Development: Evolution with new technologies and educational platforms

  • Brand forecast

Requirements

The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

  • At least 7 years of brand management experience, including tenure in the pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred

  • At least 3-5 years tenure in pharmaceutical brand management.

  • Experience in market development, pharmaceutical sales, or GI marketing is a plus.

  • Alternate experience, relevant to the required skillset, will be considered.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree strongly preferred
