Position Overview

This role will serve as a CoE for Direct Marketing Expenses (DME) providing operational and transactional support for marketing programs. Primary focus is the management and tracking of DME spend, supporting multiple franchises in the transactional aspects of direct marketing programs. Position requires active collaboration with other functions including Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Accounts P ayable.

Role is part-time (60%) and flexible scheduling is an option.

  • Budget/Project Planning: Establish and maintain close collaboration with marketing teams to gain thorough understanding of their budgets, projects, vendor relationship and roles & responsibilities.

  • Budget Reconciliation and Forecasting: Manage accruals of Direct Marketing Expenses; coordinate closing activities and analyze actuals vs budget. Submit budget and forecast of Direct Marketing Expense data in planning system (BPC)

  • DME Transactions: Create purchase requisitions, change orders, and manage other transactions

  • Vendor Payments: Manage all aspects of vendor payments in collaboration with Accounts Payable

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years work experience required, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with direct marketing programs in a regulated industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)Proficient in SAP or other financial tracking systems

  • Financial acumen - understanding of monthly closing, journal entries and financial reporting

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business or Finance
