Position Overview

Principle Objective of Position: This position is responsible for the consolidated financial reporting of the Internal manufacturing network of Allergan. Working under the oversight of the Executive Director this position will be responsible for the aggregations and analysis the financial and performance data for the various sites. This position will be responsible for the reporting and consolidation of the Global Operations Financial results on a monthly/quarterly basis as well and coordinating and reporting the consolidated budgeting and forecasting of the sites. This position will also be responsible for analysis and evaluations of the mfg sites performance evaluation of various scenarios to support the development of an optimized network. This role will also develop/maintain consistent processes and adherence to overall company policy as well as drive optimization of our financial processes.

Key duties include: financial consolidation, analysis of network strategies, metric development and review, optimized financial processes; understanding of overall Global Mfg Operations results.

  • Consolidate and provide clear/concise commentary on the performance of the Global Operations organization on a monthly/quarterly basis

  • Consolidation and understanding of the company’s, forecast, budgets and metrics.

  • Collaborate directly with each Site Finance teams and site management to understand financial results, assist in forecasts and budgets, and provide consolidated commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Under guidance from the Executive Director preform analysis as needed and interface with the sites to support site Finance team’s goals and objectives

  • Collaborate and provide guidance on the development of business cases for capital expenditures

  • Manage and organize key site financial data related to actuals, budgets, forecasts and other as needed request

  • Assist sites in meeting the compliance objective related to Company policies and procedures, SOX and Internal Audit reviews

  • Perform related and ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum 7+ years financial/accounting experience, experience within the Pharmaceutical industry a plus

  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to travel to sites on an as needed basis

  • Performance measurement

  • Principles and practices of budget preparation and administration

  • Software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Global, multicultural, and multi-site environment

Skill in:

  • Must be results oriented with a can-do attitude

  • Data analysis, budgeting and forecasting

  • Analyzing financial results to enable business decisions

  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Managing and prioritizing multiple assignments

  • Highly skilled using SAP and BPC

  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with colleagues and Management

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment or independently

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highly skilled in SAP & BPC

  • Highly skilled in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • CPA, MBA preferred
