Position Overview

This Senior Trading Partner, Business & Data Analytics position is a critical role managing as system administrator the Value Centric order/inventory management interface. The ValueCentric system utilizes trading partner 852 sku activity, inventory level and product movements, returns and 867 product transfer and resale data from multiple locations to an end customer. The function of this role includes expertise of data management, system parameters and advanced excel for Adhoc reporting in Market Visibility. Performs order and line analysis of trading partner orders with target days on hand based on Distribution Supply Agreements. Manage Product and Master Data/Price, order queue and measure order management validation to stated process objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • System Administrator for the order/inventory management utilizing the interface system Value Centric. Product Manager, Trading Partners, Data Manager, Global Parameters

  • Administration and strategic planning of Allergan product and trading partner data in the ValueCentric system. Data sets include Product Manager (creating/maintain) Product/product groups, Trading Partner/TP Groups, and Price. Create/Maintain user roles to Licenses. Evaluate Order Queue based on trading partner order patterns and implement parameter. Set Days on Hand target parameters for Key, Non- Key, and Control Substances based on the Distribution Supply Agreement and direction from Trade Leader's for products on allocation for product overrides. Execute the on-boarding new trading partners or changes within an existing trading partner structure. Validate trading partner 852/867 data mapping. Perform testing when applicable and evaluate EDI and SAP integration.

  • Value Track Line Analysis/Data Maintenance

  • Analyze/execute to Days on Hand (DOH): Evaluate trading partner order/lines in LAT. Determine order quantity to target DOH, disposition lines and apply reject reason based where applicable. Compliance to business rules of max quantities, case sizes, product allocations. Timely execution of LAT for order process to stated objective. Identify unique order patterns, or higher order patterns. Secure approval from Trade Sales on order exceptions. Manage quarter and end year deliverables to targets. Correct 852/867 Maintenance Bin items for data accuracy.

  • Data Visualization, Market Visibility Adhoc Reporting, Scorecard module. Performs routine system checks and partners with vendor to resolve open discrepancies and system enhancements. Maintains SAP product allocation table. Executes weekly, monthly, trending and department metrics.

  • "Develop 852 reporting and Adhoc reports for trading partner, Brand product trends of Promote products, Cardiovascular, CNS, Eyecare, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Med Aesthetics, Med Derm, Neurosciences & Urology, Women's Health. Explore/report on product distribution, market anomalies and industry level penetration metrics. Proactively reports demand variations over defined time periods and analyze anomalies as a result of trend, seasonality, events. New Product Launch (NPL): Prepare reports post launch by viewing a typical demand and distribution curve that new products, determine data timing of 867 with ValueCentric. Loss of Exclusivity (LOE): downward curve in demand products approaching end-of-life experience. Execute quarter end and year end reports for DOH targets and price change evaluation. View all sales activity, including actual 867 sales data and projections of sales from previously blinded Trading Partner data. Market Visibility: Investigate/report outlet locations and their Total MV Sales for each selected Chain and Product combination. Chain Sales by Product Report on the Total MV Sales for each selected Chain and Product combination. Analyze the trending sales for each Chain and Product combination.

  • Work Instructions and Training

  • Create/maintain all Work Instructions for area of responsibility including details in generating Adhoc reports, formulas and unique data layout. Execute knowledge transfer/training sessions.

Requirements

Advanced knowledge in 852/867 data and operating computer systems and software applications specifically MS Word and advanced level of excel/pivot tables, Adhoc reporting utilizing Data Visualization preferred. SAP experience preferred. Knowledge of Brand pharmaceutical industry. Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint/Box Site experience preferred. Value Centric or related order/inventory management application preferred. Financial analytics preferred.

Normally requires a minimum of 6 years progressively responsible related experience inventory management for trading partner order and sales analytics. Finance and business analytical experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree with related fields of finance, marketing analytics business and/or supply chain.
